Planster Integration Guide: WMS & 3PL Systems

This guide provides a step-by-step process for setting up automatic data synchronization between Planster and your warehouse management system (WMS) or third-party logistics (3PL) provider. We support integrations with popular systems such as Extensive, Cin7, Ongoing, ShipHero, and Deposco.
After your Planster account is set up, you will receive a customized integration link via email. This link initiates the connection process with your WMS or 3PL system.

Click the integration link provided:
You will be redirected to the login page for your WMS or 3PL system.
Enter the required credentials. The specific credentials needed (e.g., username/password, API keys) will vary based on your system's API requirements.
Grant Planster permission to connect to your system by authorizing the request.

After authorizing the connection, return to your Planster account. The initial data sync may take several hours. If, after this time, you do not see your products and inventory levels syncing, please contact us via the chat function (located in the bottom-left corner of the Planster interface) for troubleshooting assistance.
Upon a successful connection, Planster will automatically sync the following data. Please note that the initial synchronization may take several hours, depending on the volume of SKUs and historical data:
Inventory levels
Product details (SKUs, descriptions)
Order information (if supported)
Warehouse details (if supported)
Supplier details (varies by integration)
Check your Products, Warehouses, and Suppliers pages in Planster to ensure the information has been imported correctly.
Planster will typically sync twice daily (once every 12 hours) and can be manually ran ad-hoc as well. You can view the status of your synchronization in the Integrations tab.
If you encounter sync issues or discrepancies:
Verify data accuracy within your WMS/3PL system.
Confirm the status of your Planster integration connection.
Allow up to 24 hours for all data changes to be fully reflected in Planster.
If issues persist, please contact Planster Support.
Congratulations! Your integration is now complete. You can begin leveraging real-time insights and data-driven accuracy for your inventory planning process.
