Integrating Planster with Your WMS or 3PL System

This guide walks you through setting up automatic data synchronization between Planster and your warehouse management system (WMS) or third-party logistics provider (3PL), such as Extensive, Cin7, Ongoing, ShipHero, Deposco, and others.

Upon onboarding, Planster will send you a customized integration link via email. This link will guide you through connecting your chosen system.

Click the integration link provided:

1. You will be redirected to your WMS or 3PL system's login page.

2. Enter the requested credentials to connect Planster to your WMS or 3PL system. each WMS or 3PL may require different credentials ranging from username/password to API keys, depending on the API requirements of your system that needs to connect to Planster. 

3. Authorize Planster's request to connect to your system.

After authorizing, return to your Planster account:

• If after a few hours, you aren't seeing products and inventory levels syncing into Planster, start a chat with us (bottom left of Planster) and we'll help troubleshoot with you. 

Once connected, Planster will automatically sync the following data. The initial sync may take several hours depending on how many SKUs and years of history you have available:

• Inventory levels

• Product details (SKUs, descriptions)

• Order information (if supported)

• Warehouse details (if supported)

• Supplier details (varies by integration)

Check your Products, Warehouses, and Suppliers pages in Planster to ensure the information has been imported correctly.

Planster automatically syncs your inventory data once per day, typically during off-peak hours. You can review synchronization details in the Integrations tab at any time.

If you encounter sync issues or discrepancies:

1. Verify data accuracy within your WMS/3PL system.

2. Confirm Planster integration connection status.

3. Allow up to 24 hours for changes to reflect in Planster.

4. Contact Planster support if you continue experiencing issues.

Now your integration is complete! Your inventory planning process can leverage real-time insights and data-driven accuracy.
